It seems like just last week that I was racing around the UN General Assembly with the former Prime of Australia and now Foreign Minister for Australia Mr Rudd.I have previously worked with both the Australian Consulate and Australian Permanent Mission to the UN since arriving in NYC back in 2003 providing both photographic and design services. On this occasion I received the call to action and jumped at the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the most powerful men and women on the planet.
One of the highlights was to capture images at the Heads of State lunch where it seemed that central casting were conducting some kind of international reality show casting. All though on the stage their were all the real deal from Obama to Iranian leader Ahmadinejad to representatives from many African nations.
The photo ops I shot exclusively for included capturing bi-lat meetings with people such as Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas and Libya's interim Prime Minister Mahmoud Jibril to many other interesting talks.
I shall be posting a series of the images from my week at the UN in the next coming weeks so stayed tuned there are some real tasty treats to come.
